The model is shaped for younger users, but age does not determine fit. It must cover the intended area, stay clear of the eyes and retain its setting over a thin hat or buff.

Fitting Armour Junior to a child
Armor Junior is built around a smaller head range, but age and height do not replace fitting. Ask the child to look up, down and sideways without the shell shifting. Use only the thin head layer that still allows correct shell depth, peripheral vision and operation of the rear adjustment wheel.
Pre-purchase check. An adult should inspect the buckle, straps, adjustment wheel, ABS shell and suspension, then test stability. Do not buy a helmet with obvious room for growth. If it can be rolled off while fastened, creates a pressure point or covers the eyes, choose another size or model.
Compare before choosing
Compare Armor Junior with other youth helmets on the child, not through an adult estimate. A model that covers a wider advertised age range may still be too shallow, too deep or unstable for the individual head.
