STALKER Semi-Automatic NEW is a 12-point steel crampon with a flexible linking bar and a semi-automatic binding for boots with a compatible heel welt.

It is intended for classic mountaineering, snow, ice and glacier travel. Shoe size alone does not prove compatibility: the heel welt, sole shape and width must all seat correctly in the binding.
Check before payment. Fit the crampons to the exact boots before buying, adjust the linking bar and test every strap and lever. Choose a different binding system if the boot has no compatible heel welt.
Who should choose STALKER Semi-Automatic NEW
This is a classic 12-point crampon for snow, glaciers and moderate ice when the boots have a compatible heel welt. Horizontal front points are generally more practical for ordinary mountaineering movement than a technical monopoint. A semi-automatic binding is not suitable for a soft trekking boot without a heel welt, even when the linking bar can be adjusted to its length.
Pre-purchase check. Bring both boots and fit the crampons to each one. The heel lever should close with clear resistance, the front cradle should sit without twisting, and the frame should not project incorrectly beyond the sole. Inspect straps, antiballing plates and every point, then check for movement after several steps on a safe surface.
Compare before choosing
Compare STALKER Semi-Automatic with the exact terrain and boots, not only with another price. A strap-on binding may fit a wider range of boots, while a technical monopoint serves a different purpose. For a classic snow-and-ice route, stable horizontal front points and reliable boot compatibility can be more useful than a more aggressive technical design.
