C.A.M.P. NANO 22 is an ultralight aluminum wiregate carabiner designed to reduce rack weight on alpine and traditional routes.

The wiregate and compact body suit racking and lightweight quickdraws, but NANO 22 is not a locking carabiner. Use it only where a non-locking gate matches the system design.
Check before payment. Check handling with gloves and clearance around the intended sling or anchor. Do not substitute it where the protection system requires a locking gate.
The purpose of the ultralight NANO 22
NANO 22 is a compact non-locking wiregate designed to reduce the weight of a rack or quickdraws. Use it only where the system permits a non-locking gate. Its 22 g mass matters on long routes, but the small body can be less convenient in thick gloves or around bulky knots and multiple slings.
Pre-purchase check. Test the opening and grip in the gloves you will use, then insert the actual sling or quickdraw. The wiregate must return without delay and the body and nose must have no sharp damage. Do not substitute NANO 22 where a locking carabiner is required, and avoid loading it across the minor axis.
Compare before choosing
Compare NANO 22 with a full-size non-locking carabiner and with the locking models required elsewhere in the rack. Its advantage is very low mass, while the trade-off is less internal room and potentially harder handling in winter gloves. A wiregate can behave well in cold and vibration, but it does not become a locking gate; the system role must remain appropriate.
After purchase
Keep the instructions and the strength markings readable, and use a consistent orientation if the carabiner is built into a quickdraw. Before every use, check gate return, nose engagement and the complete body. Keep it away from grit, salt and chemicals and do not bend the wire or reshape the nose. Quarantine it after deformation, abnormal loading, a major fall or delayed gate return.
